Resident investigating the true location of false Dept. of Health water results?
April 7, 2017
This is a recording of Stella Martin, one neighboring residents of the toxic landfill, and she is speaking with Rob Swyder, the Director of the NYS Health Dept., asking Swyder to please investigate the correct location of where their reported water test was taken-
Stella was told by Kristen Kulow, of NYS Health dept., and Lt. Beiter with the NYS Region 4 of the DEC that they were finally going to test the quality of the NYS/Nationally Protected Wetlands. Up until this recording Lt.Beiter, and other members of the DEC had told Martin that they would Not test the Wetlands.
There were many ridiculous excuses as to Why they would not test the waters. One was that the water would already be so diluted from the rest of the large wetlands, and that any toxins from elsewhere would be included in the testing? So a DEC Officer is stating there are other toxins in the Protected Wetlands, and they are not concerned for the quality of the waters? This is only one terrible excuse. In any event, as you can see by the photo below of the toxic landfill showing the area for the wetlands, those wetlands pretty much begin there, and the waters run South. So testing at the bottom of the landfill, would primarily be the toxins from the contaminated debris dumped right there. So the DEC Officer Lt. Beiter accompanied the NYS Health dept. official to 3 residents that day, to do the Only testing that has 'Officially' been done, by any agency for this landfill. Which was to test both neighboring residents private wells, and the business property of the landfill's well (which all of those tests results are very concerning, missing much information, and false like these wetlands testing).
When Kristen Kulow was at the resident Stella Martin's house, Martin began to tell her the experience with the Landfill, and the Wetlands, and shared her great concern for the impact the toxic landfill has had on the Protected waters quality, because the contaminated debris was dumped into the waters as the new banks, and still sitting there today to rot into the waters. Kulow showed concern finally, and both Kulow, and Beiter made both neighboring families aware that they would finally test the waters of the Wetlands. However after many confusing phone calls after that day of testing, Martin began to feel as though the neighboring residents had been deceived about the Exact location of the water testing by the DEC, and Health dept..
There are many recordings of Martins investigation for questioning the Wetlands testing, including many of our Officials stating the wetlands were tested. Then the recordings for the true, and honest location of that water test results admitted. That the test was taken from the Opposite side of the business property of the contaminated debris, opposite from the protected wetlands, and Not where the neighboring families were told it was taken from( locations shown in the photograph attached). This is the recording of Martin asking the Health dept. director to officially get the location of the Health dept. water testing, that they have stated is the wetlands. A recording to follow shortly will be the Health Dept. Directors answer, that the testing location was false.
Unfortunately, even with the DEC, Health dept., and other government agencies being aware that the neighboring residents are fully aware of the false results of the water for the protected wetlands, our officials continued to deceive many others. Announcing the Protected Wetlands testing was proving No Toxins, which is the results from a small puddle, on the opposite side of the property from contamination? If this is deemed "Clean Fill" by our governing agencies, why Falsify testing results? Our Protection Agencies, State/Federal Government, Town of Catskill, has even continued to put these false test results in formal documents for the Investigation of this Toxic Landfill? These false test results are the results agencies use to show reporters investigating this situation, and even other protection agencies that can see the damage, and trying to help protect the families, and protected wetlands? Why Not just test the wetlands, and property since they have all claimed nothing is wrong, or toxic? This recording has been approved by Stella Martin in the recording, and Rob Swyder is the Director of the NYS Health dept., a public official. It is allowed by Law to record, or share a conversation with a Public Official.
